THANK YOU to everyone for your support and donations to the Father Fred Frostbite Food Drive, it was a GREAT success!

Fox Grand Traverse and The Father Fred Frostbite Food Drive once again teamed up to help families in need last February.  From February 11th thru the 20th, the public was encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to Fox Grand Traverse. In appreciation, anyone donating $10 or more in non-perishable food items received a free ski pass from The Homestead.

This year's partnership generated over 3.5 tons of food!  In addition, Fox Grand Traverse made a cash donation to the Father Fred Foundation for every gift donated. In total the Frostbite Food Drive collected over $100,000 in cash and 36 pallets of food.

"We are very pleased with this year's results." said John Cueter, Northwest Division Director of Fox Motors.  "It makes us proud to be a part of this great community and to be able to make a significant impact for families in need."

The Father Fred Foundation pantry has grown rapidly over the years to become the largest food pantry in Northern Michigan. It depends on food drives like the Frostbite each year to feed over 3,000 families supporting over 5,000 children.  All donated food items will be distributed to families and children in need this winter and spring.

The event sponsors included Fox Grand Traverse, The Homestead, WLDR, WCCW, WTCM, WKHQ, WKLT, Charter Media, ABC 29&8, NBC 7&4, 9&10 News and Fox 32.

THANK YOU again to everyone!!
